Could Ron Paul Become a Vice President Possibility? – KTVN

Jun 22, 2012

The Huffington Post reports a rule change made by the Republican party four years ago could mean big things for Ron Paul.

That’s because this rule means the vice presidential nominee must also pass through the nomination process in the national convention. And given Ron Paul’s heavy delegate pool from states like Nevada, Maine, Minnesota and Iowa, he could see a high number of votes.

Keep in mind — the Republican National Committee could still change that rule in the week leading into the August convention, but some political experts say that could risk appearing as though they’re forcing Romney’s choice through and not giving Paul supporters a chance.

Here in the Silver State, even though Romney won our state caucus, Paul is taking 22 of our 28 delegates.
