“Senator, are you suggesting that heroine and prostitution are an exercise of liberty?” -Probably the dumbest question ever.

Utopia= Southern states seceding from the union to form a Federation of Independent states. Ron Paul as president. Rand as VP. No national debt. No S.S. Private charity instead of welfare for needy and disabled folks only. 10% flat tax for military and infrastructure. No Federal laws. All other taxes and regulations will be deferred to each individual sovereign state or territory. Wait, didn’t they try something like this once before? Sometime in the late 1700′s maybe?

    .
RON PAUL: My Socially-Conservative SC Bruthas! No matter how much I fight to pass legislation (oh, yeah, and PRAY) for the freedom to practice such “controversial things”, you don’t think that when I DO LEGALIZE heroine, I’m gonna use more THEN, than I use NOW, do ya’? XD

Milton Friedman: Nobel Prize winning economist in an interview in 1980 in which the subject of drugs comes up. Wouldn’t you know, he is perfectly in step with Dr. Paul /watch?v=8E3jDdNTFXE&feature=related

@the1tigglet As far as I know, he’s always been for the states to choose and not the federal gov’t.

@imtrueblue123 The point is that the federal gov’t has no Constitutional legal right to ban drugs and prostitution, but the states do. Most of the states would outlaw it anyway, and the states that wouldn’t would suffer the consequences. The same applies for gay marriage. The states that would want it would have it and the states that wouldn’t want it wouldn’t be forced to have it. Everyone wins.

I think Cocaine/crack is having worse effects on our society than heroin. people don’t violent on heroin/opiates like they do on coke/crack. plus people on coke/crack drink alchohol which with the coke/crack making 5 times more violant. and while I’ve never done herion ive done opiate based drugs and the craving for coke makes you crazier.
