Ron Paul Nevada Team Names New ‘Homeschoolers for Ron Paul’ Nationwide Coalition Members
Latest families valuing education freedom to assist with Clark County outreach push
HENDERSON, Nevada – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign named today members of its active “Homeschoolers for Ron Paul” nationwide coalition. New members hail from Las Vegas, Nevada, and have pledged to spread the word about Dr. Paul among their respective communities and home education networks.
Below are the statements of new coalition members who agree with Dr. Paul’s position that no nation can remain free when the state has greater influence over the knowledge and values transmitted to children than the family.
As President, Dr. Paul has pledged to veto any legislation that would encroach on homeschooling parents’ rights to educate their children.
“I believe that Ron Paul is the only candidate that will help turn our country around,” said Jenna Fischer, who continued to say, “I believe in liberty and limited government. Ron Paul shares my convictions and I want him to be my President.”
Homeschooling her seven children for eight years and counting, Magdalena Alvarez described her “addiction to the freedoms we enjoy in Nevada,” adding, “I am a strong supporter of Ron Paul, because his voting record has been absolutely unwavering for decades. He understands the fundamental right of parents to control the education of their children.”
Kate Wilson cited Dr. Paul’s solutions-oriented approach to personal liberty, stating, “I want to do what I want, how I want, and when I want – without big government breathing down my neck and telling me how to live my life. I love the Second Amendment, home-birthing, raw milk, and especially homeschooling.”
As a function of this announcement, the above persons are all members of the “Homeschoolers for Ron Paul” national advisory board, in particular the Nevada steering committee.
